The True Alaskan Experience!

Hi! This is the Appleton family homepage, my husband Dan and our 3 kids, Kristin 5yrs, Zachary 3yrs,and Tyler 1yr, and of course me,Tiffany. We live in North Pole Alaska, yes the home of Santa Clause. It is very hot now, in the 80's most the time and is daylight almost 24 hours a day, June 21st is the offical 24 hours of light day.

We have begun planting our garden and have between my parents house and ours, planted 2 gardens and a greenhouse, we are going to be busy come fall harvest.

Soon it will be Salmon season and then moose and caribou, this will be the busiest time of year, and we have been waiting for this all year. Not only fishing but camping is underway too, lots of RV's and tourist this time of year.

Yes we do get a bit of snow in the winter months, this is the garage, under the snow.
